Arabic Vinyl Records in Kuwait

Kuwait's Arabic vinyl market has a distinctly cosmopolitan character. The country's diverse expatriate population — large South Asian, Levantine, Egyptian and wider Arab communities — creates demand for Arabic vinyl that spans Lebanon, Egypt, the Gulf and beyond. Fairuz, Oum Kalthoum and Abdel Halim Hafez are all widely collected in Kuwait alongside Kuwaiti and Gulf artists.
